Every day of the week we ship things to pretty much every corner of this planet. Sometimes our items need to get there extra quick for various reasons - weddings, birthday presents, anniversaries, magazine shoots, impatient oligarchs - so good job that DHL do a great job of getting them on time (with a little help from us including expert packing).
A few weeks ago it was a rush job to get a Sheffield silver plate punch bowl to a customer on the East Coast USA in time for a wedding ceremony. The punch bowl was to be a centrepiece to the ceremony - of course we got it there on time and to our delight the customer sent us some photos of the bowl bursting with a vivid floral arrangement (as you can see above). It really means so much to us when we get this sort of feedback from customers and gives an extra value to what we do. We do get quite a few photos from customers after receiving their goods of them in situ and it's really rewarding.
If that wasn't enough her brother created a lovely oil painting of the centrepeice:
Which I hope you agree is a beautiful rendition of the scene. What a lovely gesture. We are chuffed.
