Place the leaf in the gap with the grain of the wood and edges aligned with the rest of the table. Regency tables typically have matching wood patterns on the leaves for a seamless look. Ensure that the decorative edges (if present) are facing the correct direction. Our range of Regency pedestal dining tables come in walnut and mahogany and of course we have various matching dining tables to match if you require a complete dining suite.

If your table has pins or alignment grooves, make sure these match up to the corresponding slots on the table. Once aligned, slowly slide each side of the table towards the leaf until they meet tightly. Lock the Table (if applicable)
Some tables include locking mechanisms underneath to secure the sections together. If yours does, engage them now to prevent the table from shifting during use. Common types of locks include metal latches or cam locks—simply follow the instructions provided for your specific type. Check Stability
Press down on the leaf to ensure it’s even with the tabletop. Make sure there is no visible gap between the leaf and the main sections of the table.
