At Canonbury Antiques we carry a range of silver plate ice buckets and wine coolers - perfect for all your party hosting needs. Nothing adds elegence and style to a dinner party or champagne party like a classic silver plate wine cooler and we hope you can find a suitable one from our extensive selection. Many of them are Sheffield silver plate so are made with the classic electroplating technique as first pioneered in Sheffield, England in the 1800s.

Silver Plate Wine Coolers

We also have various styles and shapes of silver plate wine coolers - and of course the one's with the bigger openings can accommodate Champagne bottles, perfect for the Champagne Charlie. The classic ice bucket with have four openings for wine bottles and you put the ice inside the piece to keep the wine perfectly cool. Perfect for those al fresco dining moments in the summer to keep your Chablis cool and your pino grigio chill.

Silver Plate ice buckets

We also carry a range of silver plate punch bowls which can also be used as ice buckets - these are larger and can hold a number of bottles, great for the oenophile or showoff. Some of the silver plate wine coolers hold two bottles and work by the same concept. Many of these ice buckets are on display in our Canonbury Antiques Hertfordshire showroom so please get in touch for an appointment. We are well located just 25 minutes north of London in the Herts countryside, right outside Potters Bar (which is great for the train from London's Kings Cross, only a 20 minute journey).

If you can't find the right silver plate wine cooler for your purposes please let us know and we can do our best to source it for you. We have an extensive range of contacts in the industry and offer a sourcing service for interior designers. Please let us know your needs and requirements.

We have been in business since the mid 1960s starting out with showrooms in various parts of London including Islington, Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill Gate and Church Street, NW8. Since the advent of the internet and e-commerce we moved to a large premises in Hertfordshire where we can ship our antiques and goods to a global client base, as well as allowing us good showroom facilities for clients and designers who want to view the goods in person. Nothing beats trying out these silver plate wine coolers for size and comfort in persons. Please let us know what goods you would like to see and if you have any questions.
