Above we lead with a gorgeous Carlton House desk in satinwood circa 1880. The original Carlton House desks were named after the original Carlton House (now gone), the palatial residence of the Prince Regent from 1783 in the St James area of London. They re great desks, very practical too with all the cubby holes and storage sections, plus they can be admired from all angles and will work well in the middle of a room.
I ve been very busy cataloging lots of new items, the fruits of which can be seen below. Empire cassoulets (sounds like a French dish), a Cloisonné clock, giant cannons and a very cool Britannia statue to name a few...
