Napoleon III Revival

This week I this French bronze with silver plate finish centrepiece deserved top billing. It really is more impressive in the flesh so hope the photos convey the quality of the casting and intricacies to the design. Encrusted with mythological characters, female maidens and there's even bacchus masks to complete the classical look. This is a later recast after the original Parisian foundry Lerolle Fres.
