Howdy partners... partners desks were traditionally designed to be used in law officers so the partners could be sat opposite each other. This amazing Regency partners desk in mahogany has a whopping 18 drawers - nine to each side. The drawers are oak lined and feature brass swan neck handles and Bramah locks. (Joseph Bramah (13 April 1748 – 9 December 1814) was an English inventor and locksmith. He is best known for having improved the flush toilet and inventing the hydraulic press. So as well as looking great and with a good size, there is a great side story to the man behind the locks.
Inadvertently, this weeks newsletter has turned into a bit of a desk special with other standout highlights below including a Carlton House desk and a lacquered desk with intricate Chinoiserie, a real on trend interiors piece. Have a great weekend :)
