The ovoid body is finely decorated in high relief with a continuous frieze of mythological figures and winged putti, their flowing drapery and animated poses creating a lively narrative band around the vessel. The urn is fitted with large, scrolling handles terminating in stylised mask heads, while bands of laurel leaves, beading, and gadrooning articulate the form and add depth to the surface. The lower body transitions into fluted panels before rising on a robust pedestal foot and square plinth base, giving the piece strong architectural presence.
