Incredible 3/4 lifesize bronze statue of a Native American After Frederic Remington, a bronze figure of a standing Native Indian with bowie knife and Winchester rifle The piece is antique and entitled 'Indian Brave' We date this to circa 1900 and the casting and patina is superb The piece is signed on the base, please see close up photos We are including provenance from the previous owner who was trying to authenticate this bronze The provenance includes details of Remington visiting London plus letters from experts dating this piece to the end of the 19th Century (including Smithsonian Institue, Buffalo Bill Institute and Henry Bonnard Bronze Foundry) It's an important and collectable work offered in great condition Of course being bronze this can live outside with no fear of rusting Dimensions are in inches (CM) Width x Depth x Height 31 (78) x 15 (38) x 69 (175)
