Each figure is shown in animated contrapposto, their outstretched arms holding the scallop shell aloft, creating a balanced and highly decorative composition. The shell is deeply fluted with a rippling edge, designed to catch and distribute water flowing from the central spout, while elegant scrollwork beneath adds further movement and ornament.
