The design is centred on a slender column rising from a substantial moulded base, framed by four vertical supports that give the piece a strong, almost temple-like presence. At the top sits a circular platform with deep relief ornament, lavishly decorated with ramb s head masks and draped garlands, evoking Neoclassical and Grand Tour motifs associated with sacrifice, strength, and antiquity. The column and supports are further enriched with fluting, twisted detailing, and classical mouldings, all crisply cast and unified by a warm, time-aged bronze patina.
