The piece has an air of classical refinement to the design with the clean lines and the pediment top. At the top is the draped garlands marquetry inlay in satinwood complemented by the horizontal lines to the front. The bookcase comes in sections so it is easy to move around and to get through smaller doorways / hallways. The great thing about these is their flexibility with the adjustable shelf system so you can store items of different sizes. Of course these are conventionally bookcases but you can also use them to showcase decorative items such as porcelain and bronze.
