Ormolu Candelabras

At Canonbury Antiques we carry a range of ormolu candelabras. Nothing adds style and panache to an interiors scheme like a pair of elegant candelabras and we have various styles and sizes. Many of our ormolu candelabras are French in origin incorporating Empire, rococo, Louis XVI and antique styles. Set up in the right location these pieces really make any room come alive. Another popular theme for these candelabras are cherubs and we have various cherub candelabras. Ormolu is a gold colored alloy of copper, zinc, and sometimes tin, cast into desired shapes and often gilded, used especially in the 18th century for decorating furniture and making ornaments. Many of our clients like the gold finish in their rooms.
