Another popular version of these antique open bookcases is the breakfront - so called as it has a protuding section to the middle hence the term breakfront. We carry a range of breakfronts which are open, alongside the more traditional closed top versions. All of these bookcases are hand crafted in England to centuries old traditions and hence our built to last and will make a great investment as they will last for generations and become heirlooms. In the age of mass produced machine made throwaway rubbish, its nice to still see products that are lovingly hand crafted with great cabinet making skills.

We have been in business since 1966 and alongside bookcases we specialise in continental antiques, architectural, art deco, bronzes, antique dining sets, Chinese porcelain and the world of interiors. We are just 25 minutes north of London in the leafy Hertfordshire countryside so please get in touch for an appointment.
