Hello peeps. We hope this missive finds you in fine fettle. We've almost finished processing all Latest Acquistions from our last round of photoshoots all coming to market as I type. Like this fine French Empire bureau plat above which really caught my eye. Great for a home office set up, this antique desk has original ormolu fixtures - love the recurring clam shell motif - complemented by intricate floral inlay work. A handsome piece. Please note - as anticipated - the marble bust of Julius Casear - has now left the building.
Further gems below, includes my personal fave, a portrait of Romantic poet Lord Byron. 'Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know' was Byron's lover Lady Caroline Lamb's famous description of Byron. Isn't it Byronic?
