Greetings from a warm but cloudy England. It's August Bank Holiday weekend here (the showroom is closed Monday Aug 28th) and it's a long one which often seems like the peak of summer. The weekend is crammed with festivals across the UK with the crowning glory being Notting Hill Carnival here in London where the crowds dance to reggae and soundsystems. I personally look forward to the nights drawing in as we slide back to the normal routine after the children go back to school - the summer holiday is very long and my teens have been hanging around for too long..
As we reflect on time and the seasons, what better product to lead with than this stand out French Grandfather clock intricately decorated with Cloisonne. As the photos illustrate, it's a very bright and well decorated clock with Cloisonne work on all surfaces, including floral motifs, arabesques and myriad interlaced designs and colours. The levels of craftmanship is astounding on this museum quality work of art and she really is more impressive in person. Have a fun filled weekend wherever you are :)
