Good Pair of Oak Jacobean Style Carver Chairs. Circa 1880 These wonderful pair of chairs stand upon Barley Twist legs and feature a typical Jacobean style front rail with cupids, cared rosettes and a bowl of fruit. The seats and Backs upholstered with green hide and feature Brass stud work and are flanked by carved open vines. The Uprights are of a Barley Twist form. The cresting rail having Carved Cupids etc. Size: Height 48 1/2" (123cm) Width 24 1/2" (62cm) Depth 21" (51cm) Seat Height 17 1/2" (44cm) Seat Depth 17" (43cm)
