You are viewing an oustanding farmhouse refectory table and chair set in oak. I hope the photos do this set some justice, it's certainly better in the flesh. The chairs and table match and would make for a great dining set - they are good enough for a main dining table piece and also great for a kitchen set up, especially if you like the farmhouse, rustic look. The set of 8 ladderback chairs are the ultimate rustic look.

The table has been hand crafted from the finest oak and is solid and chunky with no wobbles. The legs are hand turned and very chunky linking the stretchers to the bottom. The apron to the table has refrectory style hand carved sections perhaps better illustrated by the close up photos. The table extends so you can make more space with it when required for dinner parties and the like. The table is offered in very good condition and sits eight chairs when unextended.

The table comes with a set of 8 oak ladderback as shown in the picture and they are a perfect match. This is a lovely set of French Country oak ladderback chairs with rush seats. They came from the Northern area of France. The chairs have a design which comes from a ladder rung shape on the back rest to the seat. The legs are gracefully curved with turned feet. They have stretchers from the front to the back. The color is a rich dark brown oak with a warm patina.

They were recently polished and waxed in our workshops and are ready to go into your home. The rush seats are shaped and the backs are slightly slanted, making the chairs very comfortable. They are very solid and sound. There are six straight chairs and two armchairs.

The price is for both chairs AND tables. If you wanted we could sell you just the chairs or the tables on their own. Please email for further information. We will ship these to anywhere in the world. We bought these from a dealer in Rouen, France whilst on a recent French buying trip.
