At Canonbury Antiques we carry a range of antique pier cabinets. These pieces of furniture first came into prominence in the Victorian era and were designed originally to go between the space between two windows the 'pier'. The primary purpose of a pier cabinet was to display fine decorative items and we have various styles and woods including Burr walnut and ebonized lacquered versions which were popular. If you would like to view any of these antique pier cabinets please get in touch for an appoinment, we need some warning as some of them are in our storage facility.
