At Canonbury Antiques we carry a range of antique knee hole desks. Typically kneehole desks are associated with the Georgian era as that is when they first arrived in the 17th Century in England. A typical knee hole desk features a central recess between chests of drawers regardless of when it was made. They are great items of furniture and very comfortable to sit and work at. A classic piece of English antique furniture design, our range of knee hole desks can be viewed in our Hertfordshire showroom but it's best to arrange an appointment ahead of your visit as some of our goods are in storage. We can also ship these pieces to anywhere in the world.
