Syrian Moorish and Islamic Furniture

At Canonbury Antiques we carry a range of Syrian and Islamic antique furniture including tables, chair sets and desks. Sometimes referred to as Damascan furniture, these pieces are great for acheiving that Moorish look so loved by interior designers. The Syrian and Islamic furniture is characterised by the use of lots of inlay with geometric designs, sometimes using mother of pearl or bone for affect, perhaps interspersed with Arabesques and other Moorish designs. It's such a great look with quite a bohemian air to it.
